Loneliness can be loudest in a crowded room. Scripture answers it with one promise repeated from Moses to the letter to the Hebrews: “Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.” Not a feeling, but a fact to stand on when feelings say otherwise.
These prayers are for the empty apartment, the struggle no one sees, and the season when God Himself feels far away.
Isaiah 43:2
Lord, You did not promise I would never go through deep water or fire. You promised You would be with me. I am in deep water now, so be with me here. Do not let the rivers overwhelm me or the flames set me ablaze. You have called me by name, and I am Yours. Hold me, and bring me through to the other side. Amen.

Lord Jesus, on the night You were betrayed, You told Your friends, “Do not let your hearts be troubled.” My heart is troubled today. I believe in God; help me believe in You as well, and trust You with what I cannot see. You have gone to prepare a place for me, and You will not leave me alone.
