Comfort & Not Alone
I Am With You Always
Matthew 28:20
Jesus, You promised to be with me always, to the very end of the age. When I feel alone, remind me You have never left. Walk with me through this ordinary day. Amen.
Comfort & Not Alone
Matthew 28:20

“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
— Matthew 28:20
Matthew 28:20 is the closing line of the Great Commission, spoken by the risen Jesus to his eleven remaining disciples on a mountain in Galilee just before he ascended. He was sending ordinary men — fishermen, a former tax collector, men who had recently scattered in fear at his arrest — out to make disciples of every nation, an overwhelming task for a small, uncertain group. The promise that closes his instructions isn't about strategy or resources; it's presence: 'I am with you always, to the very end of the age.' It is the last thing Jesus says before leaving physically, meant to carry them through everything that would come after. This prayer is for the ordinary days when you need reminding that his presence isn't reserved for dramatic moments — it's woven through the whole of an unremarkable day.
A new voiced prayer each day — for the morning, the commute, the sleepless 3 a.m.
