Anxiety & Fear

With Authority Over Your Life

Mark 1:21-22

Lord Jesus, I submit my heart to Your divine authority today. Your words are not merely empty phrases, but the very power of God for my life. Speak to my situation with the same authority that astonished the people of Capernaum. Quiet the noise of the world so I can hear Your truth, and let Your Word rule over my fears and uncertainties. Guide my steps by the light of Your commands. Amen.

The Scripture

“Then Jesus and His companions went to Capernaum, and right away Jesus entered the synagogue on the Sabbath and began to teach. The people were astonished at His teaching, because He taught as one who had authority, and not as the scribes.”

— Mark 1:21-22
