About this picture

Before he faced Goliath, David kept his father’s sheep. Here he sits on a rock in green pastures playing a small wooden harp, with a lamb resting beside him, a sheepdog at his feet, his sling, staff and leather bag on the grass, a little campfire, ducks on the quiet stream, and a tent on the far hillside. The verse is Psalm 23, the psalm of David that begins with the LORD as shepherd.

Every round hides five differences, picked at random from about a dozen painted into this scene, so playing it again gives you a new set. Tap a difference on either picture to circle it; pinch or tap 🔍 to look closer. Free, with no download and no account.

The story

A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.Psalm 23:1–4 (BSB)
