About this picture

The rocky road from Jerusalem down to Jericho. A Samaritan in a striped robe kneels beside a hurt man who sits against a rock, binding his arm and pouring on oil, while his donkey waits with saddlebags and a gourd flask. Up the road, a priest in white and a Levite in brown walk away, and an inn with a palm tree waits further on. Wildflowers, a lizard, a hoopoe and a hawk are hidden about. Jesus told this story in Luke 10 to answer the question of who our neighbor is.

Every round hides five differences, picked at random from about a dozen painted into this scene, so playing it again gives you a new set. Tap a difference on either picture to circle it; pinch or tap 🔍 to look closer. Free, with no download and no account.

The story

But a Samaritan on a journey came upon him, and when he saw him, he had compassion. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.Luke 10:33–34 (BSB)
