About this picture

Joseph, a boy in a long robe striped red, blue, yellow and green, stands beside his white-bearded father Jacob outside their dark goat-hair tents in Canaan. Around them are a stone well with a bucket, a loom with half-woven cloth, resting camels, goats at a trough, baskets, jars and a sleeping dog, while his older brothers lead the flocks over the hills. Genesis 37 says Israel loved Joseph more than his other sons and made him a robe of many colors, and that his brothers hated him for it.

Every round hides five differences, picked at random from about a dozen painted into this scene, so playing it again gives you a new set. Tap a difference on either picture to circle it; pinch or tap 🔍 to look closer. Free, with no download and no account.

The story

Now Israel loved Joseph more than his other sons, because Joseph had been born to him in his old age; so he made him a robe of many colors. When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father loved him more than any of them, they hated him and could not speak a kind word to him.Genesis 37:3–4 (BSB)
