Our apps do not collect any of your personal data. No accounts. No analytics SDKs. No advertising. No third-party trackers.
Everything you do inside the app — your prayers, intercessions, examen reflections, streaks — lives only on your device. We never see it.
The only network calls our apps make are anonymous HTTPS requests to feed.ourbiblemoments.com to fetch the daily prayer manifest and audio files. These requests carry no user-identifying information.
Our Bible Moments is an independent publisher of Christian devotional content, operated by SimpleDuo Studio. We make Selah: Daily Prayer and other prayer-focused apps for the App Store.
This privacy policy covers all apps published under the Our Bible Moments brand, including Selah: Daily Prayer.

Our apps include no third-party SDK that collects this data either. We rely only on Apple's first-party frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, AVFoundation, StoreKit) and our own anonymous HTTPS fetch to our content feed.
The app stores the following locally, in Apple's SwiftData container on your device:
This data never leaves your device. It is not synced, uploaded, or backed up to our servers. If you uninstall the app, this data is removed by iOS along with the app. You can also clear the audio cache at any time from Settings → Storage → Clear audio cache.
Selah offers an optional Premium subscription via the Apple App Store. All purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store any payment information, credit card details, billing addresses, or transaction identifiers tied to you.
To manage or cancel a subscription: open the App Store app on your device → tap your profile picture → tap Subscriptions.
If you choose to enter your email on the homepage of ourbiblemoments.com to subscribe to our occasional newsletter, we store your email address in our Cloudflare KV database so we can send you the next issue. Unsubscribing removes your address from our list.
The mailing list is operated separately from the iOS apps. Subscribing to the newsletter is entirely optional and has no effect on the apps. You can subscribe without using the app, and vice versa.
To deliver each day's prayer, the app makes an anonymous HTTPS request to feed.ourbiblemoments.com/manifest.json and downloads the corresponding audio file(s). These requests:

Our apps are suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal data (this should be impossible by design), please contact us and we will investigate.
Because we do not collect personal data, there is effectively no data to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict. If you have additional questions or want to verify what we hold (typically: nothing), email hello@ourbiblemoments.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you subscribed to the newsletter, you have the right to request deletion of your email address from our list — just reply to any issue with "unsubscribe" or email us.
If we materially change this policy — for example, if a future app version added a new third-party service — we will update this page and bump the "Effective" date at the top. If a future change involves any actual data collection, we will require explicit consent in-app.
