Our apps collect no personal data on their own. No accounts. No analytics SDKs. No advertising. No third-party trackers.
The one exception is entirely in your hands: if you open the in-app feedback form and press Send, we receive the message you wrote, an email address if you chose to give one, and basic technical context (app version, OS, device model, language). See Section 5.
Everything you do inside the app — your prayers, intercessions, examen reflections, streaks — lives only on your device. We never see it, and nothing you write there is transmitted to us.
Apart from feedback you deliberately send, the only network calls our apps make are anonymous HTTPS requests to feed.ourbiblemoments.com to fetch the daily prayer manifest and audio files. These requests carry no user-identifying information.
Our Bible Moments is an independent publisher of Christian devotional content, operated by SimpleDuo Studio. We make Selah: Daily Prayer and other prayer-focused apps for the App Store.

Our apps include no third-party SDK that collects this data either. We rely only on Apple's first-party frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, AVFoundation, StoreKit) and our own anonymous HTTPS fetch to our content feed.
The app stores the following locally, in Apple's SwiftData container on your device:
This data never leaves your device. It is not synced, uploaded, or backed up to our servers. If you uninstall the app, this data is removed by iOS along with the app. You can also clear the audio cache at any time from Settings → Storage → Clear audio cache.
Selah offers an optional Premium subscription via the Apple App Store. All purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store any payment information, credit card details, billing addresses, or transaction identifiers tied to you.
To manage or cancel a subscription: open the App Store app on your device → tap your profile picture → tap Subscriptions.
Everything in this section is optional and starts with you. If you never use the feedback form and never subscribe to the newsletter, we hold nothing about you at all.
Our apps have a feedback form (Settings → Feedback). When you press Send, we receive:
Feedback is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure and forwarded to our support mailbox. It is used only to answer you and to fix the app — never for advertising, never for profiling, and never sold or shared with anyone beyond the hosting and email providers acting on our behalf.
We keep feedback for up to 24 months, then delete it. You can have yours deleted sooner at any time: email hello@ourbiblemoments.com — from the address you gave us, or telling us roughly when and what you wrote — and we will remove it within 30 days.
If you choose to enter your email on the homepage of ourbiblemoments.com to subscribe to our occasional newsletter, we store your email address in our Cloudflare KV database so we can send you the next issue. Unsubscribing removes your address from our list.
The mailing list is operated separately from the apps. Subscribing to the newsletter is entirely optional and has no effect on the apps. You can subscribe without using the app, and vice versa.
The free games at ourbiblemoments.com/games, and the jigsaw puzzle on the Bible Jigsaw Puzzle page, keep a small tally in your browser: how many rounds you started, finished, replayed or shared, and whether you tapped a link to the app. The jigsaw puzzles also remember, in your browser only, where you are in a puzzle; that is never sent anywhere. That tally, with a random ID made up in your browser, your browser language and your country, is sent to our Cloudflare database so we can tell whether the games are worth growing. It holds no name, no email and no recording, and it expires after 24 months. Clearing your browser's site data resets it.
The films at ourbiblemoments.com/biblemovies/watch stream from our media server (bm-media.ourbiblemoments.com), which receives the usual connection details any website gets, such as your IP address, to deliver the video. The pages keep a small tally in your browser, like the games: how many films you opened and played, verses or scenes you tapped, previews you watched to the end and links to the app you tapped. That tally, a random ID made up in your browser, your browser language and your country are sent to our Cloudflare database. It holds no name and no email, and it expires after 24 months. If you type your email into “Tell me”, it is added to our email list (see above) only to tell you when every chapter can be watched on the web; you can ask us to delete it at any time.
The prayer pages at ourbiblemoments.com/pray keep a similar tally in your browser, so we can tell whether a page actually helped the person who came to it: how many prayers you opened, prayed along with to the end, shared, or left within a few seconds; whether the prayer points were on screen; which of our apps you tapped; and your answer if you tap “Did this help you pray today?”. Each count is grouped by the kind of place you came from (a search engine, YouTube, Pinterest, social media, a direct visit or another page here) — not the address of that page and not what you searched for. The tally, a random ID made up in your browser, your browser language and your country are sent to our Cloudflare database. It holds no name and no email, and it expires after 24 months. Clearing your browser's site data resets it.
If you answer “Not really” and choose to write what you were looking for, those words are sent with the page address and that kind of place to our feedback inbox and handled like feedback (above): kept for up to 24 months and deleted on request.
If you choose to shout into your microphone at the end of The Walls of Jericho, the game only measures how loud the sound is, on your device, while that screen is open. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere, and the microphone is switched off as soon as the walls fall.
To deliver each day's prayer, the app makes an anonymous HTTPS request to feed.ourbiblemoments.com/manifest.json and downloads the corresponding audio file(s). These requests:
The only other request the app can make is a one-off POST to ourbiblemoments.com/api/feedback, and only at the moment you press Send on the feedback form. It carries what Section 5 describes and nothing else. That is the full scope of our app's network activity.
Our apps are suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal data (this should be impossible by design), please contact us and we will investigate.
The apps themselves collect no personal data, so for most people there is nothing to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict. Where we do hold something about you, it is one of two things: feedback you sent us through the in-app form (kept up to 24 months), or a newsletter subscription. You can ask to see or delete either at any time — email hello@ourbiblemoments.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you subscribed to the newsletter, you have the right to request deletion of your email address from our list — just reply to any issue with "unsubscribe" or email us.
If we materially change this policy — for example, if a future app version added a new third-party service — we will update this page and bump the "Effective" date at the top. If a future change involves any actual data collection, we will require explicit consent in-app.
