About this picture

Families sit in groups on the grass above the Sea of Galilee, with boats on the water below. A boy holds a basket of bread and fish, disciples carry bread to the people, and Jesus, in a white robe and blue mantle, holds up a loaf and gives thanks. Baskets, a striped cushion, a sleeping dog, a tortoise and a crow are tucked in among the crowd. John 6 tells how Jesus took the loaves and the fish, gave thanks, and gave everyone as much as they wanted.

Every round hides five differences, picked at random from about a dozen painted into this scene, so playing it again gives you a new set. Tap a difference on either picture to circle it; pinch or tap 🔍 to look closer. Free, with no download and no account.

The story

One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, “Here is a boy with five barley loaves and two small fish. But what difference will these make among so many?” “Have the people sit down,” Jesus said. Now there was plenty of grass in that place, so the men sat down, about five thousand of them. Then Jesus took the loaves and the fish, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted.John 6:8–11 (BSB)
