Joseph’s Coat of Many Colors
Jacob, also called Israel, loved his son Joseph more than his other sons and made him a robe of many colors. His older brothers grew jealous and sold him to traders going to Egypt. God was with Joseph there, and years later He used him to save his whole family from famine.
Now Israel loved Joseph more than his other sons, because Joseph had been born to him in his old age; so he made him a robe of many colors.
