Ruth and Naomi

After Naomi lost her husband and both her sons in Moab, she decided to go home to Bethlehem and told her daughters-in-law to go back to their own families. Ruth would not leave her. She went with Naomi and made Naomi’s people and Naomi’s God her own.

For wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you live, I will live; your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.
