About us
A minute with Scripture, whatever today holds.
Our Bible Moments makes short prayers you can pray along with, the Bible on film, word for word, and free Bible games for families and classrooms. Everything starts from the words of Scripture.
Who we are
We are a small, independent publisher of Christian devotional content, operated by SimpleDuo Studio. We make this website, a YouTube channel and a handful of Bible apps for iPhone and Android.
We write for Christians of every tradition. We don’t speak for any one church or denomination, and our pages don’t take sides on the questions that divide them. Where a picture or a page follows Christian tradition rather than the text (the ox and the donkey at the manger, for example), we say so.
What we make
- Short voiced prayersMore than 150 prayers, each drawn from one passage of Scripture, with the verse, prayer points and a voice to pray along with. Find one by need: anxiety, grief, healing, strength and more.
- Bible MoviesWhole chapters of the Bible as films, read word for word, in order. Genesis and Mark so far.
- Free Bible gamesThe Walls of Jericho, David and Goliath, Noah’s Ark, a nativity builder, jigsaws and more. They play in the browser on a phone, a tablet or a classroom projector, with no download and no account.
- Our appsBible Movies, Bible Jigsaw and our other apps for iPhone and Android.
Which Bible we quote
Every verse on this website is quoted word for word from the Berean Standard Bible (BSB). It is a modern English translation that its publishers have dedicated to the public domain, so we can put whole chapters on a page and on film, free for anyone to read.
We don’t type verses from memory. Each one is taken from a copy of the BSB and checked against it, word for word, by software before a page goes up. If you ever find a verse here that doesn’t match the BSB, please tell us and we will fix it.
How the prayers are written
Each prayer starts from a single passage and prays it back to God in plain, first-person words, short enough to pray in a minute. The passage is on the page with it, with a few sentences on who said it, to whom and when, so you can see where the prayer comes from. We read each one against its verse before it is published.
Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
— Colossians 3:16 (BSB)
What we don’t do
- There are no ads on this website, and you never need an account to pray, watch or play.
- We don’t sell or share anything about you. The few anonymous counters we keep (for example, how many people prayed to the end of a prayer) are described in our privacy policy.
- We are not affiliated with any church, ministry, TV series or Bible publisher whose work we mention.
