The Bible story

Philip and the Ethiopian

An angel sent Philip to a desert road, where an official from Ethiopia was riding home in his chariot, reading the prophet Isaiah. Philip ran up beside him and explained that the passage was about Jesus. When they came to some water, the Ethiopian was baptized and went on his way rejoicing.

Then Philip began with this very Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.
