Mary Magdalene Meets the Risen Jesus
Mary Magdalene stood weeping outside the empty tomb. A man asked why she was crying, and she thought He was the gardener, until He said her name. Then she knew it was Jesus, and she went to tell the disciples that she had seen the Lord.
Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to Him in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).
