The Angel at the Empty Tomb

At dawn on the first day of the week, women came to see the tomb. An angel of the Lord had rolled back the stone and was sitting on it; he told them not to be afraid, because Jesus had risen. They hurried away, afraid yet filled with joy, to tell the disciples.

Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.
