Anxiety & Fear
No One Can Snatch You
John 10:28
Lord, I keep fearing my own grip will fail. But You said no one can snatch me out of Your hand. Tonight I stop holding on by strength, and rest inside Yours. Amen.

“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one will snatch them out of My hand.”
— John 10:28
John 10 records Jesus teaching in Jerusalem's temple during winter, describing Himself as the Good Shepherd who knows His sheep by name and lays down His life for them, in contrast to hired hands who flee when danger comes. In verse 28, He makes a direct promise to those who follow Him: He gives them eternal life, they will never perish, and 'no one will snatch them out of My hand.' The security described here rests on the strength of His grip, not the sheep's own ability to hold on or stay close. For people prone to fearing they'll somehow lose their footing or fail their way out of God's care, the image reframes the whole question — the holding was never dependent on their own strength to begin with. This is a prayer for anxiety about whether your own faith or effort is 'enough' to keep you safe.
A new voiced prayer each day — for the morning, the commute, the sleepless 3 a.m.
