Anxiety & Fear
Only Believe
Mark 5:36
Jesus, the report I dreaded has come, and fear says it is too late. But You turn to me and say: do not be afraid, only believe. Hold my heart there, in You. Amen.

“Do not fear, only believe.”
— Mark 5:36
Jairus, a synagogue leader, had begged Jesus to come heal his dying daughter. On the way, messengers arrive with the worst possible news: she has already died, so there's no need to trouble the teacher any further. Jesus overhears and speaks directly to Jairus's shattered hope: 'Do not fear, only believe.' He then continues to the house and raises the girl from death — showing that his words were not denial of the loss but a call to trust him even after the report seemed final. This moment sits at the edge of what looks like too late, and Jesus meets it there. This is a prayer for the exact moment bad news arrives and fear tries to take over before there's any room left for faith.
A new voiced prayer each day — for the morning, the commute, the sleepless 3 a.m.
