Healing
He Was a Roman. His Faith Stopped Jesus.
Matthew 8:8
Jesus, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof. But I have seen Your authority. Only say the word, and let it be healed. I trust Your word more than what I can see. Amen.

Matthew 8:8

“Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed.”
— Matthew 8:8
A Roman centurion commanded soldiers in occupied Capernaum — a Gentile with no claim on Israel's God, yet his servant lay paralyzed and suffering at home. When he came to Jesus, he did not ask him inside; he sent word that a spoken command was enough, reasoning from his own experience of military authority: he could say 'go' and 'come' and be obeyed. Jesus called this the greatest faith he had found in Israel and healed the servant from a distance, with only a word. It reversed every expectation about who belonged and who understood real authority. This is a prayer for when you feel like an outsider to faith yet trust Jesus's word more than your own eyes.
A new voiced prayer each day — for the morning, the commute, the sleepless 3 a.m.
