One short passage a day, word for word, then the scene it tells to paint while the words settle. Day by day, what you read becomes a Bible illustrated by your own hand.
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.”
Most of us mean to read the Bible every day, and lose the thread by the second week. Scriptorium makes each day small enough to finish.
A few verses, a short note on where they fit, a prayer, and one illustrated scene. The Good Shepherd, day 55, is about two minutes of reading and about five minutes of painting at the Easy level.
Each day opens on its passage from the Berean Standard Bible, never paraphrased, with a short note on where you are in the story. Tap a verse to underline it. A short prayer closes the reading.
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. 12The hired hand is not the shepherd, and the sheep are not his own.
John 10:11–12
Give the day’s scene its colors, one numbered area at a time, while the passage settles. No drawing skill needed.
Every scene starts at Easy, about a hundred areas you can tap without zooming. Choose Standard or Detailed when you want to linger. Find takes you straight to an area you’ve missed.
When the last area is filled, your finished painting appears in full, with its verse beneath it. Many scenes move for a few seconds to quiet music.
Then write a line or a prayer, if you like. It stays with the page.
Not every scene moves; those that don’t end on the finished painting and its music. Animations download the first time you finish a scene.
Every scene you finish is filed in My Bible beside its passage, in the order of the story. Leaf back through it on a hard day and see how far you’ve come.
Lord Jesus, thank You for knowing me by name and carrying me when I am weary. When I wander, bring me home on Your shoulders.
John 10, the last areas of His robe, the scene coming alive, and the book turning from The Door for the Sheep to the Good Shepherd. Screens from the app, cut into a short preview with its own music.
My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me.John 10:27

The Berean Standard Bible (BSB), word for word. It is in the public domain. Passages are never paraphrased or reworded, and all of them ship inside the app.
No. Every area is numbered; you tap a color, then tap its areas. Easy has about a hundred areas you can tap without zooming, and Find shows you any you’ve missed.
On your device only. Nothing you read, paint, underline or write is uploaded. In this version they are not synced between devices, so export your book as a PDF if you want to keep it somewhere else.
Every passage ships inside the app. The animations of finished scenes download the first time you finish a scene, so that moment needs a connection once; if one didn’t play, open the page in My Bible and tap Replay when you are online.
