John 8:11
Lord, I have thrown so many stones at myself — replaying the same failure, holding my own case against me. Thank You that You are the only One with the right to condemn me, and You knelt in the dust and let every stone fall. You already dropped the case. Help me open my hand, lift my eyes, and walk in the freedom You bought. Amen.

John 8 tells of religious leaders dragging a woman caught in adultery before Jesus, demanding He endorse her stoning under the Law of Moses — really a trap to force Him into either condoning execution or contradicting the Law. Jesus stoops, writes in the dust, and says, 'Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone.' One by one, her accusers walk away, oldest first, until only Jesus remains — the one person in the crowd who actually had the right to condemn her. Instead He says, 'Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.' The mercy is not a denial of what she did; it's an authority that chooses not to use its power against her. This is a prayer for the self-condemnation that outlasts everyone else's judgment.
