Philippians 4:6

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
— Philippians 4:6
Paul wrote this instruction to the church at Philippi from prison, which makes it more than a tidy motivational line — it comes from someone with real reason for anxiety, writing to a congregation he loved and worried for. His counsel is specific: do not be anxious about anything, but bring every situation to God through prayer and petition, with thanksgiving woven in even before the answer arrives. The verses that follow promise a peace that 'surpasses understanding' will guard the heart and mind. It reframes anxiety not as something to suppress but as something to hand over, repeatedly, in the middle of hard circumstances rather than after they resolve. This is a prayer for calming a racing mind by naming worries out loud to God instead of carrying them alone.
A new voiced prayer each day — for the morning, the commute, the sleepless 3 a.m.
