Isaiah 61:10
Lord, I am so tired of dressing myself in old shame. Thank You that You don't leave me in my rags — that You lift Your own royal robe of righteousness onto my shoulders, a robe cut to fit me perfectly. Today I stop covering myself and let You clothe me. I am Yours, and I am beautiful in Your eyes. Amen.

Isaiah 61 is a prophet's announcement of good news to a people returning from exile with nothing — no temple, no walls, no status, only the ash and mourning clothes of loss. Into that scene the prophet speaks in the first person, as one anointed to bring beauty for ashes and the oil of gladness for mourning. Verse 10 is the response: not just relief but a wedding image, God dressing His people like a bride and groom in garments they did not sew for themselves. The robe is 'righteousness' — right standing, not earned but given, exchanged for rags. This is a prayer for when shame has become your default outfit and you need to remember what you were actually handed to wear.
