1. How do I add the widget to my Lock Screen?

Touch and hold your Lock Screen, tap Customize, choose the Lock Screen, tap the widget area, and add Sparrow. For the Home Screen: touch and hold an empty spot, tap Edit → Add Widget, and search for Sparrow. A new verse appears every morning.

2. When does the verse change?

At midnight, your local time. The app and every widget show the same verse for the day, drawn from the collection you chose — change the collection any time on the app's home screen.

3. Which Bible translation does Sparrow use?

The King James Version (public domain), word for word. Verses are never paraphrased, shortened, or reworded, and the entire library ships inside the app — nothing is fetched from a server.

4. What does Premium unlock? Is Scripture behind a paywall?

Never. Every verse in Sparrow is free, forever. Premium unlocks the designs: all six widget themes and all eight verse collections. Premium is a yearly subscription (with a 7-day free trial) or a one-time Lifetime purchase.

5. How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple — cancelling is always done there, never inside the app.

• Open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions
• Select Sparrow, then cancel or change plan

6. How do I restore a purchase on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple ID that made the original purchase, then open the app → Settings → Restore Purchases. Both the yearly subscription and the Lifetime purchase restore this way.

7. How do the daily reminders work?

If you allow notifications, Sparrow sends one gentle reminder each morning with the day's verse. No streaks, no guilt. You can turn reminders off any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Sparrow.
